I enjoyed reading my classmates’ blogs. I have been wanting to look them over but
have not had the time to do so, so I appreciate the assignment. It got me to take the time to do it.
I don’t think I have anything profound to say
about the blog reading and commenting process.
I was happy to get to know my classmates better by reading their
blogs. I was especially curious about
their attitudes towards grammar, since I am such a grammar nerd, and so many
comp people seem to hate grammar. It was
nice to find a fellow grammar nerd in Owen, and it was good to know what the
others thought about the topic of grammar.
I have to say that the postings I least liked reading were the summaries
of the articles that we have read, especially since some of them are a couple
of weeks old. Those are great to write,
as they really help me get my head around the paper, but they don’t make the
most interesting postings for reading purposes. Like I said at above, though, I
think community building is the best result of reading my classmates’ blogs.
